Owensby & Kritikos, Inc. (O&K) utilizes the portable PMI system that is hand held.  The system uses two low curie isotopes that measure the amount of reactivity of elements contained in the alloy material being tested.  The system has the capacity to operate in elevated temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.  These units are ideally suited to carry into a working process unit with minimal disruption of operations.

O&K utilizes a dual element system to incorporate detection of Titanium.  The systems currently used by Owensby & Kritikos have the capability to identify 300 alloys, including most stainless steels, chrome/moly alloys, inconels, hastelloys, tool steels, cobalt alloys and titanium alloys.

Owensby & Kritikos, Inc. has an alliance partner that has carbon steel analytical capability.  The working agreement that exists between both parties allows each other to respond on short notice.
