Ok-insp.com needs you to help expand our vibrant and lively community further still.
Because in 2018 we are growing and want to do more, for more people.
At the moment, we are a valuable and much used resource by construction workers and tradespeople in the industry.
It puts us in touch with each other and helps us to discuss the news in the business with likeminded colleagues.
To help us do that, we need more team members on board to be involved in the running and the maintenance of the site.
We are looking for bloggers to join us, to write regular blogs and columns, about all aspects of construction and its related trades.
So, if you are a roofer, a plumber, or a paving contractor, who can write convincingly on your profession, we would love to hear from you.
Ideally, we are seeking about ten regular bloggers, to join our core team of four permanent writers.
We are hoping to recruit from as wide a base as possible and to represent every branch of the construction industry.
So, if you are an engineer, a plasterer, a forklift truck driver, a heavy goods vehicle driver, an electrician or roofer, then we want you to write for us.
A good command of English is essential, as is the ability to convey your thoughts in a succinct and easy to follow fashion.
The blogs will be between 500-1000 words in length and should be accompanied by two to three images per article. It should also be titled and captioned, with snappy headlines.
It doesn’t matter if you have not been published before, but if you already are, it is in advantage.
To apply, please send us your ideas for your blog, or even an example of something that you have already written, to our editor, Mary Bridges.
FORUM MODERATORS NEEDED
Our thriving and active members’ section is growing by the day.
Now we have over five thousand members and over a three hundred posts a day are made on our message boards.
All this requires administrating and moderating. At the moment we only have five moderators on our message board, but are looking to appoint another two.
This is an unpaid and voluntary position and would suit someone interested in being more heavily involved in our community and being happy to help its members.
To discuss this role informally, please contact Allison for more information.
